Happy birthday to Waffle Flower! Waffle Flower is celebrating it’s 7th birthday with a blog hop and several giveaways (yes, SEVERAL). You don’t want to miss this, more details below.
Here are seven of my favorite projects using Waffle Flower supplies.
1. Skinny Stripes Die
The Skinny Stripes Die is the newest edition to my Waffle Flower collection. This set is one of my favs because there’s no measuring required, the 5.5” stripes and 4.25” stripes come out perfect every single time.
2. Big Dots Combo
The Big Dots Combo stamps and die is a fun set for me because it works itself up quickly, the hardest part is selecting the colors. Here are two variations of how I used the Big Dots set. For the top picture I heat embossed the sentinment and used bright colors of paper to fill in the background. On the bottom picture I used just the panel die and filled all the circles with googly eyes, it made for a fun Halloween Card.
3. Cutaway Alpha Dies
The Cutaway Alpha Dies pack a lot of punch and gets the sentiment across right away. The color combos are endless.
4. Color Combo Bundle
I have a deep love for color swatching. Whether it’s swatching markers, inks, or embossing powders I like having and making color guides so I know ahead of time what colors I’m getting myself into. With that in mind, I decided to fuse my love of die cuts with my love of yarn (I’m a crocheter). Yarn swatches are a must.
Top Left- I used the Color Combos Tag Die and Color Combos Tag Die, Top Right- I used the Combo Swatch Combo and Bullet List Stamp, Bottom- I used the Combo Swatch Tag Die.
5. Tower Alpha Dies
I am often asked this question, what is your favorite die cuts to use? Hands down, without a doubt I respond with alphabet dies. Not only do I I use alphabet dies on my greeting cards but I also use them in my journals and for labeling various items around the house. The Tower Outline Alpha Dies can be used in several ways, use just the letter, or just the frame, or by using the letter and frame together.
6. Disc Bound Dies
The Disc Bound Dies come in two sizes the A2 and A7, and lets not forget the colorful binding discs to hold everything together. As a journal enthusiasts the Disc Bound Dies are a perfect way to create a one of a kind journal or planner, just think of all the paper products that can be added to a planner book like this, paint chips, magazine pages, greeting cards, etc.
7. Nesting Circles and a Thank You
Nesting Circles (squares, ovals, or any shape really) are another type of must have dies. They work well for punching out circles or for layering. I topped my circles with a Rainbow Thank You Die. The Rainbow Die has several layers to it which is not seen on this card.
