As a kid, my mom would say, “a homemade card is more special to me than a store bought one.”  Even at my current age, she still says the same thing.  She actually has a shelf dedicated to all those homemade greeting cards – yep, she has kept every single card.  No, the birthday card I made her in the 3rd grade isn’t on display, but it is neatly stacked and organized with all the other cards she’s received throughout the years.  Let me tell you, that shelf is packed.
