I’ve always had a thing for cactus (just an FYI, cacti/cactus is a play on words. No need to get all grammar crazy on me).
I admit, a cactus was the only type of plant I could keep alive. I’d accidentally forget about it for weeks on end and it’d still be alive when I got to it (green thumb award winner right here). Geez, I was a horrible plant mom.
When water restrictions in California were implemented, and drought patrol started ticketing water wasters, I was all for decorating with cactus plants. It’s beauty, user friendliness, and ability to sustain life without much care was perfect for someone like me.
Since then, my cactus collection has grown. By collection – I meant to say I have a few live plants and some cactus rubber stamps.
