Easter-y

With Easter quickly approaching, I thought it was befitting to make the April calendar all Easter-y.  Yep, I just made-up a word.  My personal definition – anything dealing with pastel colors, bunnies, carrots, baby chicks, jelly beans, and Cadbury eggs (you know the ones with a funky yolk in the middle; by the way, I have never eaten one before).

Last year, Easter was in March.   This year it’s in April.   I know there’s a methodology to figuring out what day Easter will fall on, but I must say, I like how it’s never consistent, a surprise. What is consistent each year is the time I get to spend with family, eating good food, playing games, and watching the kids search for Easter eggs.
