*****I made a much needed color change. With my black pen, I colored-in October, November, and List (I’m happier with the way it looks). See pics below for what it originally looked like.

The day before Halloween is finally here and I’m totally unprepared.

I still need to put the fake spider webs up in front of the house and I’m conflicted with what kind of candy to buy.

Which reminds me, here’s a story from several Halloweens ago. I decided to buy a Costco box of assorted regular sized candy bars…bad idea.

There was a group of about 5 kids I’d say no older than 10 years old. The first time they rang the doorbell I gave each kid in the group a bar of candy and off they went.

About 30 minutes into it, the same group of kids came back to my house. Now, at first I wasn’t 100% sure it was them again so I passed out the candy and off they went.

No joke, about 45 minutes after that the same kids were back at my house. There was no way that three different groups of kids consisted of two Power Rangers, a princess, a witch, and a ninja.

Those stingy little heathens tried to get me a third time! I just so happen to “run out of candy.” They skipped off to their parents waiting at the curb. Yep, that happened.

Details

This is the bullet journal I use.

I decided to bust out my old animal print stencil (similar) for this layout. With my blending tool and sponge and black distress ink I colored over the stencil.

Then with my ruler and pen, I drew eight boxes.

After, I hand lettered October and November into the first box with my brush pens (from Michael’s), these pens are similar.

For the last part I used these days of the week stamps by The Sassy Club. This is the acrylic block and ink pad I used.
