As February approaches, I’m giddy about all the shades of pinks and reds I’ll see throughout the month.
I’m not big on celebrating Valentine’s Day but I do appreciate the decor and the sweet treats.
I usually make Rice Krispie Treats in the shapes of hearts; and lets not forget the red food coloring I add to the melting butter and marshmallows.
But that’s as far as it goes.
Here is my first Valentine’s bullet journal contribution for the month, I just had to go with the animal print.

Details
This orange tiger journal is by Dingbats Notebooks. In 2017, I used this super cute grey elephant bullet journal also by Dingbats.
I started this layout by blocking off certain sections with paper. The reason for the blocking is because there’s areas of the layout I didn’t want the stencil to touch. This is a similar animal print stencil from the one I used.
With my distress ink and applicator, I colored in the stencil.
After both sides were complete, I drew in the boxes with this ruler and marker. I love these markers. There’s two different sized pen tips, perfect for creating thin and thick lines.
I wanted to stick with the pink theme, so I hand lettered the months into the first box and the word ‘notes’ in the last. This is the brush pen I used.
Then, I stamped the layout with these days of the week stamps by The Sassy Club. I’ve used these stamps several times in different layouts because they are just so cute and fun! This is the ink and acrylic block I used.
I remembered I had gold animal print washi tape, so I added that as my finishing touch.
