Well, I need to keep this post short and sweet. My husband’s birthday is coming up and I have some last minute creating to create.
Anyway, I can’t believe it’s July. Half of the year is already over…CRAZY!
So, I was all for creating the calendar for this month. I had an idea that I was hoping would turn out, and it turned out better than I had expected!
This design was super easy and not many supplies are needed. Check it out.
Supplies
Step One
First, I created a 3 sided rectangle with a purple brush pen (665) and a ruler. Once that portion was complete, I added the sections for the calendar.
Step Two
Then I lettered the word July. I wrote it once but I didn’t like all the leftover space, so I wrote it in several more times in many shades of purple. I continued with placing the date in each box.
Step Three
To add a confetti look, I decided to stamp circles to the side of the layout. Instead of using an ink pad, I used my brush pens. What I did was place the stamp on my acrylic block, color the top of the circle stamp (with the brush pens from Step Two), then stamped it onto the journal.
