Hello there! Today I am blog hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to celebrate the release of a bunch of fun new stuff. Visit the Waffle Flower website to see all the new stamps, dies, and stencils (it’s amazing to say the least)!
Here’s what I created using the new Tower Outline Alpha Dies and the Lacy Circle Dies.
First, I started with selecting my color palette. I wanted bright playful colors so I chose shades of pinks and blues.
After running the Lacy Circle Dies through my die cut machine, I started assembling the circles. I glued the two largest together followed by the other two sets. Next I used the Tower Outline Alpha Dies to spell out ‘THANK YOU’ and glued that to the largest circle dies.
Since my sentiment was big and bold, I wanted to keep the smallest circle die simple and word-free. So I used the flower die from the Lacy Circle Die set and added an embellishment and pink grosgrain ribbon to give the top of the card texture and definition.
Then I punctured holes to each circle set and connected each with a silver brad. This allows each set to swivel around and extend each section of the card.

I love this type of card that I call telescoping. Not sure if that is the name but The little flower that you have as the pull is adorable. I love all of the layers and patterns you used in this.

Love the patterns and colors, what a great card!
That’s such a cool card, and looks pretty easy to create with your step by step instructions.
I remember making this style cards years ago but had completely forgotten about them. They are so much fun. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Time to start making these again.
