Whoever came up with that saying “April showers bring May flowers” clearly wasn’t from Southern California. Not one bit of rain fell in my area this April, and I was looking forward to it. I love the rain. Maybe I love it so much because it rarely happens here. Really though, how much rain and gloom would I need each week to no longer want it?
As flowers are blooming (even without the rain), I couldn’t help but have a floral themed calendar layout for May. So, I gathered all my flower stamps and went crazy. Black and red aren’t Spring colors, but I sure do love how it turned out.
