Cork board, vision board, pin board, memo board, magnetic board, bulletin board, whatever it’s called, all serve a similar function, to organize thoughts and keep it in one place. I use my board for all my immediate and last minute thoughts- reminders, grocery lists, and creative ideas.

My board, more specifically, my magnetic board was overflowing with the most randomest (definition- beyond random) of stuff. I found a popsicle stick, a receipt for Altoids (I must’ve considered returning that?!?), and an unused bandaid. I couldn’t handle it any longer. It was time to spring clean that mess.

Now, that board is bare. Too bare, naked in fact.

As I was coming up with a layout for my bullet journal, I was drawing a blank. I’m convinced it has to do with that magnetic board! Cleaning off that board cleared any creative ideas that was stored on it!!

So, the layout looks very similar to my newly organized board. It likely won’t look like this for much longer, so I decided to preserve it on paper.
