Gummy bears are my fav! I loved them so much as a kid, I had gummy bear everything. Yep, I was a huge supporter of the gummy bear movement! I even watched the Gummy Bears cartoon. As I think back, I now realize the candy and cartoon had zero resemblance.

Anyway, as much as I hated those things getting stuck in my teeth, I had a thing for them. I’d even bite the gummy in half and stick a green headed gummy onto a yellow gummy’s body for a fun multicolored effect. I suppose there’s no wrong way to eat a gummy bear!

Which brings me to the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Hey, I gotta pay homage to a great flick. Remember that part at the end of the movie when Mr. Rooney hitches a ride on the school bus and the girl offers him a gummy bear?!? She says, “Gummy Bear? They’ve been in my pocket. They’re real warm and soft.” Mr. Rooney’s expression as he threw it was priceless!

Anyway, when I saw these stamps I was in Gummy Bear heaven. I couldn’t resist.
