My calendar post shoulda, coulda, woulda, been posted about five days ago, however this darn cold seems to be getting progressively worse and I’m too exhausted to do anything!
It’s been ten days now. I’m such a hot mess. Now, I could go to the doctor, but I’m not the visit the doctor type of girl.
I mean come on, a couple of years ago I broke my finger really bad and I refused to visit the doctor. That was until my finger blew up like a balloon and started turning a bluish black color. The doctor realigned my finger and a week later I was in the operating room getting pins put in. It’s easy to say, I’m not big on doctors and hospitals.
With that said, the two-week mark will be my breaking point. I’ll make a date with my doctor if I’m not feeling any sort of relief by Friday.
In the mean time, check out the February calendar I designed in my bullet journal.

Details
This orange tiger journal is by Dingbats Notebooks.
I started the design by making the layout for the calendar. Because the majority of the layout will be pink/heart themed (afterall, it is valentine’s this month), I figured the calendar lines should pop out a bit so I made them black. I used my favorite bullet journal sized ruler and black pen. Just an FYI, I love these black pens. They don’t bleed and the pen tips come in 3 different sizes.
For this layout I did something a bit different than my norm (I really think I create differently when I’m sick). But I decided to make the entire design fit within a certain rectangular dimension. With my pink brush pen I lettered the month in the top left unused portion of the calendar. Generally speaking (or typing), as memory serves, I usually make the month big and bold.
Then, with my heart stamp (similar) and my Prima Marketing pink ink pad I stamped hearts everywhere (it turned out better than I expected!).
I also wrote in the days of the week in pencil and then wrote over it with my black pen (same black pen used earlier).
Last, with my pink marker, I wrote in the dates – again, a bit more bigger and bolder than my norm. I love this layout.
