My friends and I have decided to have our first annual garden party. And why not? It’s Spring, the weather is fabulous, and it’s something we’ve never done.
As I was trying to figure out the perfect table setting decor, I decided to include these cute little boxes. I had such a difficult time deciding between the two floral prints of paper, so I did a mix of the two.
And, I didn’t want to fill the boxes with anything boring, so I put chocolates in them! Loving the Spring/floral crafts? See this other fun DIY here.
Check out how adorable these turned out.
Supplies
- Box Die Cut
- Die Cut Machine
- Cardstock
- Floral Scrapbook Paper
- Tags
- Glue
- Brush Pen
- Twine
Step One
After placing the box shape die-cut and pink cardstock into the die-cut machine, I assembled the boxes per the instructions (super easy, btw). This is the glue I used. Also, heavier cardstock works best. It maintains its folded shape much easier than lighter cardstock.
Step Two
Then I cut a piece of floral scrapbook paper 12″ x 1.25″ and wrapped/glued it around the box for added decor (and to match the garden theme).
Step Three
I personalized the gift tags by lettering each person’s name and attaching it to the handle of the box with twine. Each box took about 3-5 minutes to create and I love the way they turned out.
