Over the last few years, I’ve acquired a green thumb- successfully growing succulents indoors and in Michigan none the less. Because of this, I thought it was important to start a journal for my plants and create pockets to hold various stickers and supplies from the ‘From the Garden’ collection by Cocoa Daisy. I decided to make a triangle pocket using a beautiful floral print paper.

After deciding the size I wanted for the triangle pocket, I added an additional .5” to the left and bottom edges, then trimmed the paper diagonally. Next, I scored those .5” marks, trimmed off the excess, and added washi tape along the diagonal edge for decoration. Then I added the pocket to my journal.

For the right side of the layout, I decided to create a rectangular pocket using a floral print paper from the ‘From the Garden Planner Kit- no inserts’. I made this like the triangle pocket but added .5” to 3 edges (the left, right, and bottom edges) instead of two. Just like before, I added a lovely washi tape trim from the collection, to the opening of the pocket.

Now my journal is complete with two pockets filled with goodies from the Cocoa Daisy ‘From the Garden’ collection. To help make the layout more interesting, I added rub-on transfers and beautiful stickers to the layout. The two kits I used (From the Garden Planner Kit- no inserts and From the Garden Planner Add on) are just beautiful and I look forward to journaling all my plants.
