The Take Flight Collection is one for the books. Check out how I created a journal layout using this collection.

Take Flight Planner Add On

Interactive journal pages are my absolute favorite. It makes the layout much more inviting. I created this journal spread with the Cocoa Daisy Take Flight Collection and I have to say, it captures Spring perfectly. Choosing just three favorites proves challenging, yet I will make the attempt – starting with the umbrella patterned paper. I transformed it into an envelope fastened securely with Velcro, ensuring the safety of the mementos I put in it.

Included in the collection is the delightful yellow dotted pattern paper, this serves as the base of the layout. Atop this, I added my second favorite item from the collection, notepad paper! One has a vibrant border, and the other is adorned with a rain cloud and umbrella. Both sheets add to the aesthetic of the layout and provides spots for notes and ideas.

As a child, I enjoyed playing with stickers, and that joy continues even now! So, ranking as my third favorite among the collection are the stickers from both the Take Flight Classic Cousin Sticker Kit and the Take Flight Planner Kit (without inserts). Infused with playful details, these stickers effortlessly elevate the theme of the layout with their charming designs.

The completed journal layout! When I said this layout was interactive, I meant it. The left section features the hot air balloon journal card and large white gift tag, both affixed with washi tapes, enabling them to fold up or down (respectively). Meanwhile, on the right side, the envelope opens, ready to house all sorts of treasures. With its delightful motifs of hot air balloons, umbrellas, along with rainbows, and birds, this collection serves as a wonderful transition from winter to spring.
